Quattro 8000VA - 10000VA
Two AC inputs with integrated transfer switch
The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC sources , for example shore-side power or electricity from a generator , or two generators. It automatically connects to the active source .
Two AC Outputs
The main output has no-break function . In case of power failure or disconnection of shore or generator, the Quattro takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast ( less than 20 milliseconds ) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without interruption. The second output is only active when one of the power inputs of the Quattro is connected to the AC. Loads that should not discharge the battery , such as air conditioning or a water heaters can also be connected to this output.
Uninterrupted AC power ( UPS function )
In case of power failure or disconnection from the generator , the inverter within the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast ( less than 20 milliseconds ) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without interruption.
PowerAssist unique feature
The Quattro will prevent overload of a limited AC source first, automatically reducing the battery when there is an overload , secondly , battery power will compensate for the output of the generator or shore side supply
Parallel operation: Virtually unlimited power
Up to 6 Quattro's can operate in parallel to achieve a higher power output . It is also possible function in Three phase or split phase.
Four stage adaptive charger and charging dual battery banks
The main output provides a powerful charge to the battery system by means of advanced "variable load" software . This software fine-tunes the three stage automatic process to suit the condition of the battery and adds a fourth stage for long periods of float charging . The adaptive charge process is described in more detail in the data sheet of the Phoenix Charger and on our website , under " Technical Information" . Besides the above , the MultiPlus will charge a second battery using an independent trickle charge output , designed to charge a starter motor battery or generator . The system configuration can not be easier. After installation, the Quattro is ready to run . If you have to change the settings , this can be done in minutes through a new procedure of DIP switch configuration. DIP switches can even schedule parallel operations and phases : no computer needed! You can also rather use a VE.Net DIP switch . There is also sophisticated software ( VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurators ) to configure several new, advanced features.
